Korea Tourism Organization Collaborates with Cox & Kings and Femina Miss India Winners

Dras, July 27, 2018:‘Ride to Kargil’ a motorcycle expedition, organised by the Indian Army and supported by TVS Motor Company, successfully concluded in Dras, with five-member team of ‘Shwet Ashw’ reaching their final destination – Kargil War Memorial. ‘Shwet Ashw’ is the elite Motorcycle Display Team of the Corps of Military Police.
Lt. Gen Ranbir Singh, AVSM, YSM, SM, Goc-in-c, Northern Command flagged in the expedition on 25th July 2018 at Dras. The team then celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas at the Kargil War Memorial with the families of martyrs and Kargil war heroes on 26th July 2018. The 20-day expedition from Bengaluru to Dras saw the riders cover a distance of 4250 kilometres across 8 states astride the TVS Apache RTR 200 FI 4V Race Edition 2.0.

Cathay Pacific Successfully Concludes trials for Next-Generation Track and Trace

Cathay Pacific has undertaken a proof of technology trial of Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) beacons in the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal, the airline’s cargo hub in Hong Kong.The trial, in harness with Unilode Aviation Solutions and OnAsset Intelligence, focused on the practicality of using these wireless devices in the multi-storey, concrete surroundings of the cargo terminal. Results have proven successful and have enabled the airline to prepare for a proof of concept with actual shipments.
Next-generation track and trace is a part of Cathay Pacific’s digital strategy, to help answer the industry’s need for greater transparency along the air freight journey. The ambition is to provide customers with real-time tracking of their cargo shipments with multi-dimensional readings. The use of BLE means data can be captured automatically.

Mumbai : Volvo Cars debuted in Madhya Pradesh by opening its first dealership - Central Volvo in Indore.  The latest addition is a state-of-the-art 3S facility spread over 18,500 Sqft of Showroom and Service facility located in the automotive hub of Dewas Naka.
