ENTERTAINMENT Noted Manipuri filmmaker Mohen Naorem announces 2nd Imphal International Short Film Festival - IISFF 2013 North India’s biggest International Short Film Festival November 30, 2012; Manipur: Noted Manipuri filmmaker and Festival Organiser Mohen Naorem announced the 2nd IISFF 2013 - the second edition of Imphal International Short Film Festival that share a common theme - including social issues, public service messages, love, horror and experimental. Open to all Indian and international filmmakers having made their film post January 2011 till December 2012 and up to 30 minutes long are eligible to apply and register at this Festival. ECONOMY EPFO launches e-Passbook portal for members Nov 30, 2012 Employees Provident Fund Organization, EPFO, today launched its e- Passbook portal for its members to access their accounts online. The facility will be available on the website- www.epfindia.gov.in. The members will now be able to download their e-passbook each month, if they are active and Electronic Challan-cum-Return, ECR, is being uploaded by their employer. In the case of members who are not active or left service and have not settled their account, the facility to download the passbook on request basis, shall be available. Any EPFO member can register him on the portal by using his photo identification number such as PAN, Aadhar card, Driving license, passport and voter ID and use the mobile number as password. CULTURE High Street Phoenix & Heroes Project celebrate World AIDS Day on 1st December  On 1st December 2012, High Street Phoenix& Heroes Project join hands to celebrate World AIDS Day with a host of activities that seek to propagate  awareness about HIV. The day will begin with the setting-up of a condom box on the Aastha table, the “Pledge Your Support” machine where people can pledge their support and a doctor’s room for counselling  There will be a team from Aastha Parivaar and Heroes Project present at High Street Phoenix to speak to the visitors. Around 3 pm in the afternoon, veteran rangoli  artist Ramakant Shedge will start work on his 6ft X 4 ft live rangoli. Chocolate/book stall will beset up and volunteers will meet people and ask them to take a small quiz.
