Lesle Lewis and Mumbai bands 
perform ‘Mumbai ki Dhadkan’ at 
the ‘Mumbai Heart Concert’
Lesle Lewis and young Mumbai rock bands performed at the Mumbai Heart Concert on the eve of the World Heart Day that is celebrated on September 29 all over the world. At the heart of the concert was the Lesle Lewis-created and Fortis Hospitals-produced anthem for Mumbai, titled ‘Mumbai ki Dhadkan’.

The anthem and concert are an initiative of Fortis Healthcare Limited, one of India’s largest private healthcare chains, especially for Mumbai and its citizens. The anthem is part of a larger campaign of Fortis that is urging Mumbaikars, especially the youth, to take care of their hearts for a better quality of life. Under the on-going campaign, and apart from the anthem and the concert, Fortis Hospitals is organizing month-long heart camps in various localities of Mumbai. On the occasion of the Joy of Giving Week, Percept art, a unique initiative of Percept Limited along with Toybank, a non-profit organization that has been set up with the aim of providing toys to children, organized a fund raiser through the synchronization of art, music and creativity.
The opening night was a beautiful blend of music and snacks. It was a curated art exhibition with over 100 established and young artists from all over India. This event also marked a 10 year celebration for Toybank which will be accompanied by live band performances and creative workshops for children.
