MUSIC/TRIBUTE Music World pays Tribute to Jagjit Singh Oct 11 The evening of October 10 th witnessed a mélange of remarkable singers from the music fraternity come together to celebrate the musical legacy of the ghazal maestro, the legend, Padma Bhushan Jagjit Singh. On the occasion of his 1 st death anniversary, Mrs. Chitra Singh curated an intimate Tribute concert. Soulful Performances by Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam made it an evening to remember. Established actor and National Award winner Farooq Sheikh hosted the evening which also witnessed the launch of unheard , unreleased, original compositions by the maestro called ‘The Master and His Magic’.
