Recently, Chef Ranveer Brar, host of the show ‘Food Tripping’ and ‘Ranveer’s Café’ on the channel Living Foodz couldn’t resist the temptation and went on a Food Trail  to get a fix of iftar food. Chef Ranveer enjoyed an authentic Ramzan feast at popular destinations such as Janata, Noorani,   Suleman Usman Mithaiwala and Noor Mohammadi.  He was seen relishing the fiery Chicken   Angaara  at Janata and indulged in   malpua  and black current   phirnis  at Suleman Usman Mithaiwala.

Kotak Mutual Fund Launches Long Term Income (LTI) facility

Investors can now redeem 0.75% of their investments at the prevailing Net Asset Value (NAV), on a monthly basis by Shrutee K/DNS Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company. Ltd announced the launch of Long Term Income (LTI) facility to meet the need for predictable, long term, cash-flow requirement of investors. On a monthly basis, investors can redeem 0.75% of their investments at the prevailing Net Asset Value (NAV). Investors of Kotak Income Opportunities Fund, Kotak Medium Term Fund, Kotak Equity Savings Fund, Kotak Monthly Income Plan and Kotak Bond Fund can avail of the facility if their minimum investment is Rs. 2 lakh. LTI facility is available for investors investing in these schemes on or after June 1, 2016 and is available under growth option only. Global insurance industry grows steadily in 2015 says Swiss Re sigma report

The overall performance was steady after a 3.4%-gain in direct insurance premiums written in 2014, and coming in an environment of just moderate (2.5%) global economic growth, the latter a key driver of insurance demand. There was a slight slowdown in the life sector in 2015, with global premium growth dipping to 4.0% from 4.3%, due to weaker performance in the advanced markets. Growing e-commerce to invest $8 billion in infra, logistics: ASSOCHAM study

by Shrutee K/DNS With the growing popularity of online shopping which is expected to catapult the e-commerce market to $80 billion by 2020 in India, the online companies are expected to invest close to $6-8 billion in logistics, infrastructure and warehousing in the next few years, an ASSOCHAM-PwC study has said. Presently, there is a very low level of air cargo penetration characterised by only a few airports equipped to handle large volumes of express delivery parcels. As the e-commerce gathers momentum and moves to the tier-II and tier-III cities, there will be increasing demand of expanding air cargo connectivity to smaller towns.
