Nick Jr. and Sonic now available on Tata Sky

Viacom18 Media Pvt. Ltd’s kids cluster, Nickelodeon, India’s leading kids’ entertainment franchise, is now expanding its reach by bringing Nick Jr. and Sonic on Tata Sky. Nick Jr., targeted at toddlers and young mothers can be viewed on channel no. 623 and Sonic, the action-adventure channel, on 619 in various language feeds.

Kid focussed entertainment is witnessing massive growth and has multiplied with new and innovative offerings. The Nickelodeon kids cluster consists of Nick that caters to kids seeking comedy, Sonic that caters to the action and adventure loving boys, Nick Junior that entertains pre-schoolers and young moms with edutainment focussed shows and Teen Nick talks to the whimsical tweens with its cutting edge international shows. The addition of Nick Jr. and Sonic on Tata Sky makes this cutting edge entertainment available to more viewers in the country. The entire Nickelodeon cluster is now available on Tata Sky with Nick on channel no. 611, Sonic on 619 and Nick Jr./ Teen Nick on 623.

With the aim of taking our engaging and entertaining content to more audiences, we are delighted to expand our reach further with the addition of Nick Jr. and Sonic on Tata Sky.”

Sonic (www.sonicgang.com), the action-adventure channel available on 619, targets the thrill seeking generation and offers shows such as Kung Fu Panda, SupaStrikas, Idaten Jump, Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Nick Jr. (www.nickjrindia.com), ‘the smart place to play’ is available on 623 and promises to entertain and educate pre-schoolers and young parents. Each show on Nick Jr. is created with clear curriculum goals and keeping a child’s growing needs in mind and thus helping kids develop various important skills in a child – be it motor skills with ‘Dora the Explorer’, technical skills with ‘Go Diego Go or simple mathematical skills with ‘Team Umizoomi’. Other popular shows on the channel include ‘Bubble Guppies’, ‘Blues Clues’ and Wonder Pets’ among others.

Teen Nick (https://www.facebook.com/teennickindia), available on channel no. 623, is a block available on the Nick Jr. channel every day from 7pm to 6am. It showcases international sitcoms such as ICarly, Victorious and Drake and Josh.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup.
