Indigo Live Music Bar organizes ‘Start-up Capital’, hosts TiE Retail Day

May 17th 2016, Bangalore Indigo Live Music Bar, Bangalore’s favorite entertainment destination hosted the first chapter of Start-up Capital, an initiative bringing together budding entrepreneurs, investors and start-up enthusiasts at their premises in Koramangala. Breaking away from the monotony of hosting regular music gigs and staying true to their tagline of being a destination where no two nights are alike, Indigo Live Music Bar played host to TiE Retail Day presented by TiE Bangalore on the occasion.

The TiE Retail Day witnessed an evening of exploration into the latest trends in the retail industry and its intersection with technology to redefine the way consumers interact with traditional retail stores and their e-commerce avatars. Discussions by various panel speakers like Mr. Mekin Maheshwari, former Chief People Officer at Flipkart, Managing Director of Helion Ventures Mr. Natarajan, IOT expert from Intel Mr. Ashwani Garg and a few more heavy weights from the business world, was followed by a retail product showcase of curated startups, further giving way for networking among participants.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Satya Murthy, CEO of Indigo, said “As Bangalore’s most premium entertainment destination, there lay an opportunity for us to curate an evening like no other and be part of something bigger for a fun young enterprising Bangalore! Indigo Live presents four to five live acts every week. While the acts feature various genres, the only guideline to billing an artist will be the energy an artist brings on stage. The space is built for Fun young Bangalore and will be a vibrant mix of energetic pulsating music and musicality. Indigo plans to present artists that appeal to the youth and have immense on stage energy in their presentation and also belong to a more modern genre of music rather than just rock or Electronic Dance Music.
