21st May, Goa: The ingenious young designers from Rachana Sansad School of Fashion and Textile Design showcased their collections christened as PEACH DEXTERITY & INDIAN CHRONICLE at IBFW 2016 on 21st May 2016 at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, 2 PM. The collection is efficiently conceptualized by the students highlighting the prints and embroidery with intricate detailing and creative styling.
Peach Dexterity is a hand crafted sporty collection comprising of trendy singlets, bomber jackets, hot shorts, bikini tops and sensational prints. The look is casual & young with vibrant colours flowing like peaches, purples, yellows, teals and powder blues. The juvenile & spirited prints on cotton twill lycras and remi linens are perfect for the summers. With an eye pleasing colour palette & exclusive prints the collection promises to make an impact this season.
The collection Indian chronicle is a perfect fit for destination wedding. Sparkling with stones & 3D flower embroidery the SFTD students offer a fantastic range of line for stunning brides to be this wedding season. The collection is an amalgamation of flowy lehengas, flairs in gowns, straight lean trousers with crop tops and new cut blouses.  The dreamy and quirky flowers, peacock and jharokha prints with handcrafted embroidery and tassels are here to steal your heart. The students have played with pastel colour palette like blues, mint greens and rose pinks. Fabrics like flowing crepes, satin linens, Georgette with customized handcrafted embroidery are here to rule the bridal trousseau.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
