On behalf of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust Shirdi and on the occasion of the Shri Saibaba Samadhi Centenary Celebrations, a MEGA BLOOD DONATION CAMP has been organized on the 30th December 2017 at Sainagar Grounds, Shirdi. Sansthan Chairman Dr. Suresh Haware has appealed to all the  Sai Palkhi Mandals, Voluntary organizations, students from colleges around as well as the residents from Shirdi area to participate in large numbers at this Mega Blood Donation Camp to be held at Shirdi.
Dr. Haware said that considering the increasing need of blood for various patients and with a view to develop a movement of Blood Donation at Shirdi on the lines of the hair donation at Tirupathi, the management committee has taken a decision to create this Blood Donation movement. Accordingly since May 2017, Blood Donation Camp is being operated at Shri Saibaba Samadhi Mandir area on a daily basis. Various Blood Banks are connected to this initiative and through these Blood Banks the blood is provided to the needy and poor patients bringing the benefits.
Blood donation is like giving a life to someone. With this concept and with a concern for social responsibility we are organizing this Mega Blood Donation Camp. Around 25 eminent Blood Banks from cities such as Ahmednagar, Nashik, Aurangabad, Pune, Mumbai and others have been invited to this Mega Blood Donation Camp in order to collect the blood through donation. The initiative will definitely help in reducing the void between the requirement and availability of blood for the patients. It is therefore requested that voluntary blood donors should register their participation at this Mega Blood Donation Camp.
Dr. Haware has also appealed to all Sai Temples in the country to organize Mega Blood Donation Camps at their respective Sai Temples and participate with all their might in this Blood Donation drive.
