UniOne Foundation Celebrates Diwali Mela

Mumbai : UniOne Foundation formed with an intent -‘United for a Good Cause’ is run by wives of Executives of Union Bank of India and has been in the forefront in carrying out social activities pertaining to upliftment of the needy and poor. UniOne Foundation today organized Diwali Mela-2018 with full of color gaiety and festivity was inaugurated by Shri. Rajkiran Rai G.  Managing Director & CEO of Union Bank of India. In all we had 101 Stalls including 85 individual Stalls of Women representatives and 5 Stalls managed by Divyangjan, with products ranging from Arts & Crafts, Imitation jewelry, Food items, Household items, Dress materials etc. The staff members of Union Bank of India wholesomely participated in the Diwali Mela-2018 and made it a grand success.

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
