Annual National Screenwriting Workshop by Anjum Rajabali
by Shrutee K/DNS
What: Screenwriting has been in the news
for all the right reasons. So many “Non-Star” films did wonders, purely because
they had good scripts. (Moreover, big ones with weak writing tanked.) Powered
by good writing, web series are roaring away.
Cinestaan
Script Contest gave away Rs, 50 Lakh in cash prizes to their top scripts. And,
above all, the quest for good scripts by producers has gone into overdrive! Imperative
then, that all aspiring, new and practicing screenwriters learn, upgrade and
polish their craft, respectively. This workshop, led by an experienced teacher,
joined by some really wonderful screenwriters, is designed precisely with these
aims.
