communication products, has launched Edimax EW-7428HCn N300, most powerful, efficient wireless access point and range extender. EW-7428HCn is designed to be conveniently ceiling mounted. 600mW power output provides outstanding wireless performance and enhanced wireless coverage up to 10,000* square meters- while green WLAN technology ensures that power is dynamically adjusted according to network activity in order to be environmentally friendly.

300Mbps Wi-Fi Speeds
When connected to IEEE 802.11n devices, the EW-7428HCn can reach Wi-Fi speeds of up to 300Mbps. The EW-7428HCn complies with IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards and incorporates wireless MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) technology to provide broader Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones.
Suitable for Home, SOHO & SMB environments
The EW-7428HCn’s massive power output provides a colossal Wi-Fi range of up to 10,000 square meters – ideal for vast environments such as airports, hotels, schools or warehouses. The ceiling mounted extender is suitable for almost any location; the high power technology ensures a strong reliable signal without dead zones for homes, smaller offices or coffee shops. And IEEE 802.3af PoE (Power over Ethernet) support means that the EW-7428HCn can be connected to a PoE switch and no external power supply and cabling is necessary – super convenient for vast environments.
Advanced Configuration Features
The included configuration software allows users to manage and configure their EW-7428HCn and its network easily and efficiently. Advanced features such as multiple SSID support (up to 5 SSIDs), SSID isolation and AP isolation mean that multiple users, employees or guests can be easily managed into different networks and services – perfect for large scale networks. Additionally, AP Bridge-WDS Mode enables the access point to function as both a wireless LAN access point and a repeater at the same time. This feature allows users to build large scale wireless networks or bridge networks between different locations when it isn’t possible to install network cabling.
Green Product, Energy Saving
The EW-7428HCn is friendly to the environment despite its high power output. Scheduling functions can automate LEDs and Wi-Fi to switch on/off and reduce power consumption – and the latest green WLAN technology dynamically regulates power to maintain maximum network performance but with only minimum power consumption.
Easy Installation & WPS Button
A built-in WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button means users can setup the access point quickly and easily. With a simple press of a button users can setup a secure, encrypted wireless network. Alternatively, iQ Setup offers an automated and intuitive browser based setup and configuration process.
