IPE is a Premier Business School in India and recognized as a “Centre of Excellence “by Indian Council of Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development.  IPE BFSI awards are organized to recognize the Best performances in the Banking, Financial Services and insurance sector.


Bank of Maharashtra a premier Nationalized Bank has won seven awards in 2nd IPE Banking Financial Services and Insurance award. Five awards in Organization Category and Two in Individual Category as below

1.    Best Bank in Public Sector
2.    Best Bank with Most Admired Services
3.    Best Security Initiative
4.    Business Sustainability Initiative
5.    Best Corporate Social Responsibility
6.    Best C. E. O. of the year to Mr. Narendra Singh, Chairman & Managing Director of Bank
7.    Best Executive Director of the year to Mr. C. VR. Rajendran, Executive Director of Bank


Awards were received by Mr. S.Bharatkumar, General Manager Planning on behalf of Bank at the function held at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 29th June 2013.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. To use this service, people need to download the app and schedule their time. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
