Bank of Maharashtra Co-sponsored “20th 

Asian Athletics Championship-2013”


 

Bank of Maharashtra a premier Nationalized Bank Co-sponsored “20th Asian Athletics Championship-2013” under Corporate Social Responsibility held at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune from 3rd to 7th July 2013. In the Championship Players from all over Asia participated in the different Athletic sports.
Bank of Maharashtra got the honour to felicitate the Medal winners of the Heptathlon event during the Prize distribution ceremony on 6th July 2013.

During the said event on 6th July 2013, the contribution cheque of the Bank of Rs. 20.00 Lakhs was handed over to Shri. Padmakar Valvi, Hon. Minister, Sport & Youth Welfare, Govt. of Maharashtra in presence of Shri. Pankaj Kumar, Commissioner, Sports & Youth Welfare, Govt. of Maharashtra by Shri. S. Bharatkumar, General Manager, Planning, Head Office on behalf of Shri. Narendra Singh, C & MD of the Bank.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
