Lavinia Hansraj held an exhibition of her festive collection of table runners, cushion covers & bedroom sets at Le Sutra on 16th October. 


The items on display featured her work in luxurious fabric, velvet, rawsilk with embellishment of gold sequence, swaroskis semi precious stones and gold patches to add glitter during the festive season.   


Guests who dropped in to check out the designs included Priya Dutt & Owen Roncoon, Tulip Joshi & Captain Vinod Nair, Nisha Jamval, Pooja Bedi, model Shruti Agarwal & Jasvir Kaur. Her hubby Chetan Hansraj was enthusiastically supporting his wife and helping her out with the arrangements despite a busy schedule. 



Lavinia Hansraj informed "Having a keen eye for beautiful home decor furnishings , I envisioned pieces that would enhance the current decor. It's fulfilling to custom design your own ideas. 




Scouting out fabrics, accessories and other embellishments gives me a sense of accomplishment with each piece I design. There is a creative satisfaction that I derive out of my work. I create pieces that reflect the distinctive personality of my clients. My designs are universal , timeless , chic, edgy & full of impact "

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
