ENIT Italian State Tourist Board organizes three city exhibition





Mumbai 8th Nov 2012:  One just can’t get enough of an enchanting Italian visit with tranquil beaches, primeval ruins, and picturesque mountains. To bring alive this experience in India ENIT - Italian State Tourist Board is going to organize an elaborate 3 city exhibition.

The exhibition commences from 16 November 2012 in Mumbai and will travel to two other Indian cities; Delhi and Bangalore. The 5 days exhibition at each city will encompass various facets of Italy to entice the Indian travelers and create affinity towards Italy; the land of love, music, beauty, fashion, history, art, culture and gastronomy.

The exhibition aims to showcase a kaleidoscope of Italian culture through various events like engaging performances, delectable Italian cuisine by renowned Italian Chef, Italian film festival showcasing Italian films and fashion show by top Italian fashion brands of Italy with dresses from the '50s onwards.

The exhibition will also witness ingenious Indian artists such as Shantanu Das, Ramkrishna Behera, Binaifer Bharucha, Hardik Kumar Kansara, Samit Das, Manisha Parekh, Mansoor Makrani and many more showcasing the Italian grandeur through their paintings and photography.

The five day road show will also arrange an assortment of interesting activities such as tasting workshops, seminars by Italian fashion and educational Institutes such as Marangoni, CPM Music Institute of Milan and Bocconi University B2B meetings with Italian tour operators and their Indian counterparts and many other interesting activities.

As per Act n. 35 of March 14 2005, ENIT, formerly a government entity was transformed into a National Tourism Board and took on further institutional objectives to its already almost one hundred year old activity of promoting Italy as a tourist destination.ENIT has statutory autonomy with regards to management, accounting and organization, under the direction of the Minister of Tourism.
