The Indian Naval Band to make waves at High Street Phoenix on 17th November

As a precursor to the Navy Day celebrated on 4th Dec, The Indian Naval Band Indian Naval Band 300x217 The Indian Naval Band to make waves at High Street Phoenix on 17th Novemberwill be performing at The Courtyard of High Street Phoenix, one of Mumbai’s most premier destination centres, between 6.30 PM to 7.30 PM on the 17th of November.
The band will comprise 30 to 40 naval musicians who will be performing on wind and percussion instruments, displaying a facet of the Indian Navy that you have probably never witnessed before.
Although a martial band, they will be playing a wide selection of music ranging from Martial to Pop, catering to the musical tastes of the audience.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
