Prithviraj Chauhan Celebrates Mahavir Jayanti

 
MPCC (Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee) President Nizamuddin Rayeen with Vice President Parvez Lakdawala   and others had organized a 2612th Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav on the eve Mahavir Jayanti where they honoured the minorities with Jain Samajh Ratna Puraskar who have excelled in their respective fields. Maharashtra Chief Minister Pritviraj Chauhan and Mumbai Congress President Janardan Chandurkar were present to honor Jain Samajh.
Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chauhan said, “I am very happy to present here. Minorities are playing a vital role toward the growth of our country. I am very thankful to MPCC to organize such a great Mahotsav on the eve of Mahavir Jayanti and make the day memorable.”
Mohd Arif Naseem Khan was seen presenting award to great achiever of the minorities. The event seen full of traditional were girls performing the Puja of Mahavirji and dancing on traditional song. Nadeem Lakdawala and Advocate Waris Pathan was also present at the event.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
