4th August 2015: Extending theirinternational association to India, premium Italian denim brand GAS partneredwith Honda Motorcycle& Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) for Revfest where 5 new motorcyclesincluding Honda’s flagship “Make in India” model CBR 650F unleashed the nextrevolution in fun motorcycling in India. This was asimultaneous launch on the 4th of August across 3 cities, Delhi,Mumbai and Bangalore with GAS as the official style partner for the hostedfashion shows to showcase their Autumn/Winter 2015-16 collection. The Delhiedition, held at the Pragati Maidan, saw Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar andTaapsee Pannu at the event.

The associationof GAS with Honda dates back to more than 15 years, where GAS has been theexclusive fashion sponsor of the Honda MotoGP teams alongsidechampions such as Mick Doohan, Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden and Dovizioso. MarcMarquez, the Honda rider and global brand ambassador for GAS, has been theMotoGP champion for 2013 and 2014 and the youngest MotoGP champion.

GAS is apremium aspirational denim lifestyle brand addressing both men and women. Theelement around which quality products revolve, products that meet the needs ofthe intelligent, aware, international, cosmopolitan consumer. Contemporaryclothing that goes beyond the fashions of the moment to express the wearer’sindividuality on all occasions.

Thebrand has been present in India since 2007. In India GAS has partnered withReliance Brands Limited (part of Reliance Industries Group). The distributionnetwork comprises 65 points of sale, including Flagship Stores in Delhi andMumbai. Gas is also sold through third party e commerce platforms such asMyntra, Jabong , Amazon and Flipkart.

This launch partnership between GAS and Honda is just the first step toa long term relationship in India. GAS will retail a special limited editioncapsule of GAS – Honda motorbiking clothing and accessories at the top 14 selectHonda flagship stores. All GAS stand-alone stores will also have a dedicated showcase area to display the limited edition Honda-GASbiking capsule collection.
