India – October 2015: Bright Start, Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd’s new offering in the “young audience” category, associates with Blippar, the leading augmented reality platform to launch India’s first-ever interactive activity book. With an objective to making learning fun and aid the Indian pre-school learning, Bright Start’s “Blippable” activity books will engage the kids like never before.

From reading ‘A’ for Apple to the same alphabet transforming itself into an apple, Blippar is all geared to convert Bright Start books into a delightful learning experience. Blippar makes the alphabet A, B, C, D… and activities around these letters, come to life on Smart phones by blipping the Bright Start activity books. Parents just need to download “Blippar”on their smart phone and give it to their kid without any inhibition. The app will take them to a fun ride of knowledge and learning, making both the kids and the parents happy.

“Every child loves to hear stories, and when alphabets and numbers create stories for them, the learning becomes enjoyable. Today’s kids are digital kids. They love technology and smart phones are their besties. We intend to provide kids an exciting journey of knowledge and with the gaining popularity of smart phones amongst kids, we are sure that they will take full pleasure in their studies and go ahead to build a strong learning foundation”, said Mr. Arnav Ghosh, CEO – Blippar India.

“In this Google age, it is very important that kids are exposed to the right books at the right age, as it is at a young age that a child begins to develop skills and forms a personality. It is also very important that this is provided through the right medium too. Research shows that kids learn faster through interactive and fun based activities. Visuals, which are in their favourite form, are remembered better. Hence we decided to move to smart phones and bring the world of education to life through Blippar making education interactive and fun for kids”, shared, Ms. Priti Shankar, Editor– Bright Start.
