North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja 2015 which has humbly
entered in its 67th year and will be celebrated
from 18th - 22nd October, 2015 at Hotel Tulip Star, Mumbai. 
Over years, the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja 2015’s pandal has seen well known personalities from the family and organizing committee like Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Tanuja, Tanishaa Mukerji, Anurag Basu, Ayan Mukerji, Sharbani Mukherjee, Samrat Mukerji, Sumona Chakravarti, Bappi Lahiri, Bappa Lahiri, Moushumi Chatterjee, Rema Lahiri, Sharbani Mukherjee and Samrat Mukerji.

Inside sources strongly believe that the stage of this pandal has been very lucky and auspicious for upcoming talent since its inception. Great personalities have performed on this stage and reached great heights over years. Some of the famous names include Sanjeev Kumar, Hemant Mukherjee, Mala Sinha, Bappi Lahiri, Sudesh Bhosale, Johnny Lever and many others who have ruled the industry. The stage is considered as one of the luckiest for upcoming talent and artists who have performed and later made a big name for themselves in the Bollywood industry.

About North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja:

The Mukerji family’s Durga Puja is a Mumbai based non-profit organization which is involved in various charitable causes through its vast and distinguished member base. The trust was founded in 1948 by Mr. Sasadhar Mukerji of Bombay Talkies also a well-known Hindi films producer, a Padma Shri Awardee and the one who is described as the founder of Filmistan & Filmalaya Studios, along with Mr. J. M. Bhadra and other family members and like-minded people of the Santacruz area. The founding committee consisted of 26 members, led by Mr. Sasadhar Mukerji as its President. Today, Mr. Deb Mukerji is theSecretary of North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja. Over the years, the Trust’s followers has expanded to more than 50,000 and voluntary work by these dedicated members keeps the organization committed to its primary objectives.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
