KANGANA RANAUT LAUNCHED THE FOREVER ETERNAL 'PICHWAI' PAINTING BY ARTIST SUVIGYA SHARMA

Mumbai,19^th October 2015: Suvigya Sharma, a young enterprising artist & designer, nurtures and promotes the Indian legacy of miniature art in its purest form. With an international reputation of painting exquisite art in real gold and embellished with semi precious stones, this year createdhistory by showcasing his Forever Eternal ‘Pichwai’ paintings at the latest exhibition. His exhibition that began from 18^th October 2015 at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery was inaugurated by the stunning actress Kangana Ranaut. The exhibition will be on till 25^thOctober 2015.

Suvigya unveiled a collection of 46 life-size distinctive Pichwai paintings made with 24 carat gold, embellished with semi-precious stones. The event showcased the grandeur of Suvigya’s Pichwai paintings which included a collection of "Kishangarh shaili" in 24 Crt Gold gilding, 3D Shrinathji Pichwai Painting, to name a few. The show also featured a unique dimension to the "Miniature Art world" adding to the majestic display of Suvigya’s artwork.

Marking its beginning with a preview event, the show dazzled with the presence of aristocrats and prominent personalities like Madhu Shah,Mickey Mehta, Madhur Bajaj, Kiran Sippy and many more. Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood’s ace actress added a glam quotient to the show as she expressed her love towards art. “Having born and grown up in a regal family in Himachal, my grandfather was always been an art connoisseur and I feel it has somehow been inherited in me. The first time I saw Suviya’s paintings I fell in love with his artwork and ever since have been insisting him to create an art piece for me. I am extremely thrilled to see the new collection which is one of its kinds. I am definitely buying one for myself.” said an elated Kangana.

While talking about the show Suvigya said “‘FOREVER ETERNAL PICHWAI'S is another attempt to make aware the people of India the derivation of Indian art. I’ve done Pichwai paintings in the Kishangarh Shaili with real gold gilding & giving it a modern touch of elegance to every artwork. These paintings will fuse in the contemporary semi modern houses as well. It’s been sheer pleasure of having Kangana Ranaut inaugurating the show for me. Her love & affinity towards art is commendable. Miniature painting is a perishing art & there are very few artists left, pursuing it.The entire newer generation is inclined towards the Contemporary Art. Suvigya Sharma, the only artist nurturing and promoting the legacy of Miniature Art form in India. The paintings are a series of his fusion artwork that has been crafted on canvas & wooden panels. These painting are created in a way that will blend into modern contemporary as well as traditional Indian interiors.”

Unlike many present day heirs of this legacy, Suvigya continues to recreate the glorious past through his unique design sensibilities and his inherited talent. Giving a neat twist to his family tradition in art, Suvigya provides connoisseurs a splendid opportunity to witness exquisitely artistic paintings recreated in quite regal spaces. This larger than life exhibition will be available from 19^th October to 25^th October from 11:00AMto 7:00 PM only at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, Nariman Point. Kindly note that 22^nd Oct is a day off.
