Karthik Jayaram is an acclaimed actor and performer known for brilliant portrayal of Raavan in his magnum opus Siya Ke Ram. Born in Koppa, Chikamanglur, Karthik has completed his schooling from Kumarans, Bangalore. Besides being an actor of repute, Karthik is also a qualified engineer from Bangalore institute of technology.

Karthik Jayaram is an acclaimed actor and performer known for brilliant portrayal of Raavan in his magnum opus Siya Ke Ram. Born in Koppa, Chikamanglur, Karthik has completed his schooling from Kumarans, Bangalore. Besides being an actor of repute, Karthik is also a qualified engineer from Bangalore institute of technology.

He took to modelling in college and stumbled upon acting on the way. He took small villain roles in movies while simultaneously working as an engineer. Karthik’s big break came in 2013, when he landed the role of an actor Jay Krishna "JK", in the serial called Ashwini Nakshatra. A remake of popular Hindi serial, Madhubala, the serial changed the course of his career.

Some of his highly rated work includes Deadly 2 (debut) 2009, Johny Mera Naam Preeti Mera Kaam, Bangalore 560023, Care Of Footpath 2, Chandrika, Kulavadhu, and Siya Ke Ram.

Karthik’s work has been widely admired by the film and TV fraternity. In 2014-15, he was conferred with Best TV Actor by Karnataka Film Association. He was awarded with Flamingo Promising New comer Award in 2014-15. In the year 2015-16, Vijayavani recognised him as the Most Popular Actor.  He has also been awarded with the Best Actor award at Karnataka-Kerala Mahotsava 2014 film & Tele serial awards, Aryabatta award 2015, Etv Best actor award 2014 and Colors Best Stylist actor award 2015. Besides being an artist, Karthik is also a cricket enthusiast. It is a little known fact that Karthik has also been a professional cricketer. He has also bowled to Indian, Australian, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Newzland, South african cricket teams during their practice sessions in Bangalore. He has fond memories of bowling to the lord of cricket himself, Sachin Tendulkar.

He loves listening music, pencil sketching, script writing, and pumping muscles at the Gym when he is not working.  Discipline, determination, and dedication are Karthik’s mantra for success. Struggle is his greatest source of inspiration. Failure brings out the best in him.  When it comes to acting Dr Rajkumar and Amitabh Bacchan are his biggest inspiration. His father remains one of his biggest sources of inspiration.

Karthik is a car aficionado and loves driving Audi. He currently drive AUDI A3 in sea Blue color. Travelling to him is a way of de-stressing himself. Some of his fondest memories are from his trip to Shanghai, Srilanka, Thailand and Brisbane. He even has a fan club in his name for magnificent portrayal of his charater as Raavan in Siya Ke Ram.
