New Facility to extend the trading hour for scrips in Equity segment to be tested

Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Limited (MSE), the upcoming national level stock exchange, will conduct mock trading session in all the segments on Saturday, the 1st July 2017. During this monthly mock session, the Exchange plans to test a crucial aspect of extension of trading hour for a few / all scrips in the Equity Cash segment. This testing is in response to the feedback received from a multitude of trading members.

The Exchange also plans to test a new version of trading software which provides for enhancements in the features of Self Trade Prevention Mechanism and Maximum Single Transaction Quantity / Value in the Currency Derivatives segment. It may be noted that these facilities provided by the Exchange support members in the risk management of their operations.

All the members are encouraged to participate in the mock trading to test the system’s performance. Members using algorithmic trading software are required to take part in the session with the appropriate user-ids. Trades resulting from such mock trading will not attract any margin / settlement obligation and do not create any rights and liability on members.
