Thai Food Festival kicks off from April 30 & May 1 2016 at the World Trade Centre Mumbai

Mumbai, 13 April 2016: The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai will organize a Thai Food Festival on Saturday, 30 April – Sunday, 1 May 2016 at venue Garden Lawn, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai from 12.00 hrs. – 18.00 hrs.


Authentic Thai cuisine, desserts, and herbal drinks will be available. The list of treats includes Pad Thai, Som Tum, Deep Fried Fish Cake, Khao Suey, Water Chestnuts in Coconut Milk, Longan Juice, and Butterfly Pea Flower Drink, all prepared hands-on by Thai chefs. Don’t miss the cooking demonstrations of Thai dishes such as Tom Yum Soup, Thai Green Curry, and Massaman.

Thai fresh fruits, Thai ingredients as well as Thai snacks will be available for purchase. Attendees will also have a chance to win round-trip tickets to Thailand in a lucky draw.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
