GINGERBREAD HOUSE AT THE LEELA AMBIENCE GURUGRAM HOTEL & RESIDENCES

GURUGRAM – DECEMBER 2016 - The Christmas season is here and so comes the time for The Leela Ambience Gurugram to get ready for the festivities. Christmas classic hues, traditional festive decorations and the highlight of this season, our Gingerbread House which adorn the hotel’s grand lobby in its splendour.

The Gingerbread House has been created by our bakery team, under the guidance of our Executive Pastry Chef Anurag Barthwal, using 7000 ginger bread tiles. This is made by 900 Kgs of ginger bread flour and 600 kgs of royal icing. It took 15 days for our efficient teams to build the house which is 6.4 m high and 11.5 m wide. This magnificent house will be unveiled on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.

Inside this house there will be a complete display of homemade Christmas goodies starting from chocolate Santa’s, Christmas trees, miniature of ginger bread houses, Christmas stollen, cakes, and assorted cookies. We will also have a complete range of our Christmas hampers, which is a perfect gift for this beautiful festival to your loved ones and business associates.

This year, the Gingerbread house also has an extended area beautifully set up using a complete range of Roca bathroom products that complement the aesthetics of the space. Virginia freestanding bathtub has been used to add elegance to the display along with Stratum Basin and furniture. The luxurious Puzzle shower collection has been displayed along with In-wash Meridian from Roca smart toilet collection.

Along with this, we have our Monumental Christmas Tree in the centre of the hotel lobby which is 7 m high, completely decorated with traditional ornaments and 1000 Christmas balls that mark the hotel’s accomplishment of 1000+ likes on the Facebook page - @TheLeelaAmbienceGurgaon. Moreover, this season, as always, we have taken a small initiative for underprivileged children of Sunshine project in partnership with Roca to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas, which is giving and sharing. By simply making a donation, one can stand a chance to win a bathroom makeover with Roca products, worth 8,00,000 INR or some exciting prizes from the hotel.
