Wonder Cement Laumches ‘Wonder Green Initiative’

Chittorgarh, 21st July 2017: Wonder Cement Limited launched ‘Wonder Green Initiative’ at Government Upper Primary School, Bhattkotri. The initiative commenced with plantation of saplings by Mr. Nitin Jain, VP, Commercial of Wonder Cement Limited.
The ‘Wonder Green Initiative is themed on Saanse ho rahi hai kam, aao ped lagaye hum. It encompasses mass plantation of trees in villages, government schools,aanganwari centres, Panchayat Bhawan and public parks. Individual farmers are encouraged to plant fruit saplings in their courtyards. Awareness sessions in the schools are being organised. This year Wonder Cement will plant 10,000 saplings in plant premises and nearby area. It has planted 1.95 lakh plants in 111 hectare area so far.
On the occasion of the launch, upsarpanch Sh. Ganshyam Singh, School Principal Sh. Shyam Lal, Assistant Manager, Horticulture -Sh. Moti Lal Paliwal, teachers and the villagers were present.
