Wonder Cement Laumches ‘Wonder Green Initiative’

Chittorgarh, 21st July 2017: Wonder Cement Limited launched ‘Wonder Green Initiative’ at Government Upper Primary School, Bhattkotri. The initiative commenced with plantation of saplings by Mr. Nitin Jain, VP, Commercial of Wonder Cement Limited.
The ‘Wonder Green Initiative’ is themed on “Saanse ho rahi hai kam, aao ped lagaye hum”. It encompasses mass plantation of trees in villages, government schools,aanganwari centres, Panchayat Bhawan and public parks. Individual farmers are encouraged to plant fruit saplings in their courtyards. Awareness sessions in the schools are being organised. This year Wonder Cement will plant 10,000 saplings in plant premises and nearby area. It has planted 1.95 lakh plants in 111 hectare area so far.
On the occasion of the launch, upsarpanch Sh. Ganshyam Singh, School Principal Sh. Shyam Lal, Assistant Manager, Horticulture -Sh. Moti Lal Paliwal, teachers and the villagers were present.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
