Shri Ram Navami Festival 2018 at Shri Saibaba Sansthan Shirdi

Shirdi: On behalf of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi a culturally rich Shri Ram Navami Festival will be celebrated between 24th March 2018 and 26th March 2018. While giving this information, Shrimati Rubal Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer of the Sansthan said that various programs have been scheduled on this occasion. She said that the Samadhi Temple will be kept open for the entire night on the main day of the celebrations that is on the 25th March 2018. She appealed to devotees to arrive in large numbers for Shri Saibaba Samadhi Darshan on this occasion.
            
Shrimati Agrawal said that Shri Ram Navami Festival was started with the blessings of Shri Saibaba in 1911 and since then the Festival is celebrated with fervor at Shirdi every year. On this occasion on the 24th March there will be kakad aarti at 4.30 am. At 5.00 am, a procession will be taken out with a Shri Saibaba Photo and Pothi. At 5.15 am, there will be continuous recital of Saisachharit at Dwarakamai followed by Holy bath for Shri Saibaba at 5.20 am. There will be Noon Aarti at 12,30 Noonfollowed by Teerth-Prasad and other programs. Keertan will be performed between 4 pm and 6 pm at the stage near Samadhi Temple. Dhupaarati will be performed at6.30 pm. A procession of Shri Saibaba Palanquin will be taken out through the city at 9.15 pm. After the procession returns Shejaarti will be performed at 10.30 pm.Dwarakamai Temple will be kept open for the entire night on this day for reading the Holy Scripture.
            
On Sunday the 25th March, Kakad aarti will be performed at 4.30 am followed by end of continuous recital at 5 am and with a procession of Shri Saibaba Photo and Pothi. Holy Bath for Shri Saibaba will be held at 5.20 with the arrival of water filled vessels. A Ram Janma Keertan will be held at the stage near Samadhi Temple between 10 am and 12 noon. Noon Aarti will be held at 12.30 noon. At 4 pm there will be a procession of flags followed by a procession of Shri Saibaba Chariot through the city at 5 pm. After the procession returns Dhoopaarti will be performed at 6.30 pm. A program of the intending artists will be held between 10 pm and 5 am next day.
            
As this is also the main day of celebrations, Samadhi Temple will be kept open for the entire night. Therefore the regular Shejaarti on the 25th and early morning Kakadaarti on the 26th will not be held.     
              
Prasadalaya will be open till 11 pm on the 25th March. The Vehicle Pooja will be closed for two days on the 24th and 25th March and Abhishek as well as Shri Satyanarayan Pooja will be closed on the 25th and 26th March 2018. On the last day of celebrations that is on Monday the 26th March the holy bath for Shri Saibaba and Darshan will be performed at 5.05 am. Rudra Abhishek will be performed at Gurusthan Temple at 6.30 am. GopalKala Keertan and Dahi Handi will be held at 10.30 am. Noon Aarti will be held at 12.10 noon followed by Teerth Prasad. Dhoopaarti will be held at 6.30 pm and Shejaarti at 10.30 pm. During the period of celebrations invited artists will present their talents at the place of Old Prasadalaya between 7 pm and 10 pm daily. On 24th Mr. Nitin Mukesh will present Bhajan Sandhya, on 25th March S/Shri Anand Pratishthan will present a program. On the 26th March Mr. Shridhar Phadke will present Geet Ramayan.

Devotees interested in continuous reading of Shri Sai Saccharit to be held at Dwarakamai Temple on the first day of the celebrations are requested to register their names at the stage near Samadhi Temple on the 23rd March 2018 between 1 pm and 5.30 pm. The names of the devotees will be decided through a DRAW and will be declared on the same day at 5.35 pm.

Presentations from artists intending to perform on the 25th that is the main day of the Festival have been organized at Shatabdi Pandal located at 16 Gunthe in Temple surroundings. Interested artists should register their names in advance and on the same day with Announcement Center staff in position. Shrimati Agrawal has appealed to devotees to participate in this important occasion in large number and create a glittering festival.

Under the mentorship and guidance of Sansthan Chairman Dr. Suresh Haware, Vice Chairman Mr. Chandrashekhar Kadam, all Trustees of the Sansthan and Chief Executive Officer Shrimati Rubal Agrawal, Dy. Collector Mr. Dhananjay Nikam and Mr. Manoj Ghode Patil, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Anand Bhoite, Dy Executive Office Dr. Sandeep Aher, all administrative officers, Heads of Departments and entire staff are making concerted efforts in order to make the Festival program a grand success.
