Mumbai: Holiday Inn
Mumbai International Airport, part of InterContinental Hotels Group has
announced the appointment of Ketan Salvi as their Director of Sales and
Marketing. His responsibility will include leading
and further improving all aspects of the sales and marketing communications,
promoting brand strategies and providing the best of Holiday Inn hospitality
experience to the guests.
Ketan
joins Holiday Inn with total 10 years of work experience. He brings an enriching experience in
hotel sales and operations with large business and luxury chains like Marriott
International, Hilton Worldwide, The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts and Taj
Hotels Palaces and Resorts. He plans
on bringing path-breaking ideas and concepts which will have a compounding
impact on sales of the property.
He has always successfully maintained
the record of highest departmental revenue growth over budget in all his roles
across hotels. In his current role as
Director of Sales & Marketing, Ketan will be ensuring sales and marketing
strategies are set, tactical plans are created and implemented, and revenue
goals are achieved. He will be working closely with various ancillary
departments in identifying operational problems and increase the effectiveness
of marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance.
In his leisure time, Ketan enjoys
spending time with his family and a large set of friends. A conversation that
he would certainly indulge into at any given time would be about interesting
modern technologies, electronic video games and cricket.
