Celebrated Shoe Sculptor, Payal Kothari is the flag bearer of future-ready footwear for over 15 years under the well-recognized brand Veruschka. This March, Payal Kothari launches her flagship retail outlet – Veruschka Shoe Lab, Mumbai’s first Shoe Lab within the Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio in Khar.

An entirely nouvelle concept, the Shoe Lab will allow customers to create personalized footwear: Be it the perfect peep toes for a blushing bride, power platforms for the professional, a showstopper pair of boots, festive stilettos for a special occasion, formal men’s footwear or sandals for tiny tots. Along with a ready-to-wear collection, clients can meet with the designer in-store to discuss and ideate their design demands to convert their vision into a reality. Each shoe will tell a story – their story!

Payal Kothari adds,” Our customers know what they want, they can now sit face-to-face with us and design their perfect shoe or make an off -the-rack purchase for immediate gratification. We want to enhance their entire shoe buying experience by creating an environment that is as special as the products we sell.

As the epicenter of all things creative, Veruschka Shoe Lab has also curated a calendar of events and workshops which will see the meeting of minds for the creation of a creative community. Audiences will get a chance to interact with topics ranging from sustainable fashion to designer collaborations and interactive workshops. Customers or as Payal Kothari calls them, Friends of the brand will get a chance to meet designers and industry influencers, enjoy bespoke experiences and preview special collections prior to their launch.

Veruschka Shoe Lab by Payal Kothari will launch with her new signature collection of festive footwear and a capsule collection in collaboration with celebrity stylist, Namita Alexander. On offer will be some of the shoe sculptors’ classics that have made headlines from fashion runways and premier exhibitions across the country. This designer store launch will also mark the introduction of her all new line of boots. The store caters to Women, Men and Kids, with a line of Bridal, Western Casual and Festive shoes.

The footwear brand is housed inside the multi-designer store, Pernia’s Pop Up Shop-Khar. With in-house stylists, customers can assemble an entire look from a single destination. Veruschka Shoe Lab by Payal Kothari will be a place to be inspired, collaborate, inquire, learn and grow.
