Birla Edutech bags 7 Awards at ‘Brainfeed’ Amongst 500 Schools

30th November, 2017: The 5th National Conference and School Excellence Awards was conducted by ‘Brainfeed’ in Pune. The conference was focused on the ideas of teaching parameters, learning, growth and the diverse roles in leadership. The conference was followed by the Brain Feed School Excellence Award for 2017-2018.  500 schools across India attended this event. Out of the 16 nominations, Birla Edutech schools bagged 7 awards.

Globe Tot’ers- A Birla Preschool, Mumbai, Nashik and Gopi Birla Memorial School, Mumbai emerged as winners in Best Preschool of Maharashtra and Best CBSE school of Maharashtra categories respectively. Ms. Preeti Ambekar on behalf of Globe Tot’ers- A Birla Preschool Mumbai; Nashik and Gopi Birla Memorial School, Mumbai was present to receive the award. Other Birla Edutech schools that bagged the awards were Shloka –A Birla Preschool, Pune for Best Preschool of Maharashtra category and Shloka –A Birla School, Vapi, Gujarat, Shloka –A Birla Preschool, Vapi, Gujarat, Shloka –A Birla Preschool- Daman, Gujarat in Best CBSE school of Gujarat category. Ms. Nikita Ramnani, Mr. Nasim, Mr. Vikram, Ms. Hazra and Ms. Niharika were present to collect these awards.


Brainfeed instituted the School Excellence Awards in 2014 and has been honoring schools in India with an intention to give a fillip to their accomplishments. The intention is to partake in the development of school education and foster a sense of camaraderie amongst the fraternity.

Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
