ZEE5 ANNOUNCES ADAPTATION OF AMOL RANA’S BESTSELLER THOSE 7 DAYS.

National: Book adaptations have seen great success on digital platforms. ZEE5, India’s fastest growing OTT platform announced eight new adaptations on the occasion of World Book Day this year. In addition to The Final Call (adapted from Priya Kumar’s I will Go With You- The Flight of a Lifetime), Parchhayee – Ghost stories by Ruskin Bond and Skyfire (adapted from Aroon Raman’s book by the same name), ZEE5 now announces yet another Original, this time based on author Anmol Rana’s Those 7 Days.

Titled ‘Love Sleep Repeat’, the seven-episode comedy drama series has been directed by Abhishek Dogra and produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. Starring Raima Sen and Anshuman Malhotra, the story revolves around the life of Vishwas, a naive, small-town boy who lived a sheltered life and eventually gets an opportunity to go to a metro city for a job. Thereon, the narrative is a roller- coaster ride packed with fun, laughter and thrill.

Author Anmol Rana said, “Those 7 Days is a delight to read. it's not just a story. It's you, me, that boy and that girl next door who make our life special. And very soon they will make a special place in your heart when you will watch them going live on ZEE5.”

Raima Sen commented, “I love reading and the fact that I have featured in two book adaptations done by ZEE5 (including this one) is a lovely coincidence. Those 7 Days is a beautiful book by Anmol Rana and I hope I do justice to my character written by him, onscreen. We are currently shooting Love Sleep Repeat and cannot wait for the premiere on ZEE5.”

Director Anshuman Malhotra (who has previously directed Dolly Ki Doli) who would also be working on his second project with ZEE5 after The Final Call said, “Love Sleep Repeat is a light-hearted, breezy story. We have been shooting the series since early this month and the process has been fun! It is packed with situational humour and romance, which makes it the perfect binge-watch content on ZEE5.
