Corporation Bank's Mangalore Zonal Office Shifted to New Premises



Corporation Bank's Mangalore Zonal Office is shifted to new
premises on 31st December 2013. The New Premises is located at
Door No. 6-2-43 (1) & (2), 1st Floor, 8th Cross, Near Ladyhill
Circle, Gandhi Nagar in the City. The new premises was
inaugurated by Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of
the Bank in the presence of Shri D M Majumdar, Deputy General
Manager and Zonal Head, Mangalore Zone of the Bank. Esteemed
customers and employees of the Bank were present on the
occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Bansal referred to the vast potential
available in Mangalore City, especially NRI deposits and
requested the esteemed clientele to patronize the Bank in greater
measure.

The Mangalore Zone of the Bank consists of 48 branches and 59
ATMS spread across in the city of Mangalore and Dakshina
Kannada district. The Mangalore Zonal Office has been shifted to
new and spacious premises for customer convenience and
improved reach.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
