Anand Trust, a charitable organization involved in altruistic activities, brings together the legendary Maestros of Santoor and Tabla- Pandit Shivkumar Sharma accompanied by Ustad Zakir Hussain.
 

Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Ustad Zakir Hussain, the world’s greatest performers on santoor and tabla respectively, are two legends of Indian music who have collaborated together since the early 1970s. Panditji has been the pioneer of the Santoor and is credited to introduce the instrument to the Indian Classical repertoire. Tabla genius Ustad Zakir Hussain is one of the most famous and recognizable names in the Indian Classical and world music movement. Winners of innumerable amount of accolades, both musicians have mesmerized and touched millions of hearts with the finest music they have produced together.

The peerless, mystical and compelling musical duo will be creating a musical symphony by  performing together on Tuesday, 14th January, 2014 at Nehru Centre Auditorium, Worli, Mumbai. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the spell binding, world renowned performace of Samrat of Santoor with his favourite accompanist, the Master of Percussion.

and  watch them as they perform a musical symphony, an amalgamation of the lush simmering sounds of the Santoor and the awe inspiring rhythm of the Tabla.
