IMC supports Uttarakhand 

relief through the

Standard Chartered 

Mumbai Marathon 2014
 

Indian Merchants’ Chamberparticipated in the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2014 (SCMM 2014) supporting the Uttarakhand relief work through the Indian Merchants’ Chamber Relief Fund. 

There were a fair number of participants including IMC President- Shailesh Vaidya, Director General of IMC- Arvind Pradhan, IMC members, YLF members, employees, etc.
 
In the wake of the unprecedented devastation caused by flash-floods in a major portion of Uttarakhand, lives have been uprooted causing much grief to the common man. 


IMC has undertaken relief work in the affected areas through itsrelief fund, providing yeoman service to the unknown thousands who have suffered immensely due to this massive natural calamity.

Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
