Former footballer, referee Bhosale is no more

Mumbai: Former footballer and referee Nitin Bhosale passed away on Monday morning following a brief illness. He was suffering from fever for the past two days but suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday morning. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he breathed his last. Bhosale, 51 years old, is survived by his wife and son.
Bhosale had represented Rhino Sports Club and later his Employers BEST Arts & Sports Club. During his playing career, Bhosale also qualified as a recognized referee and officiated in many top level matches in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
He was cremated on Monday evening.
