Dun& Bradstreet India holds 11th edition of Banking Awards 2017

Mumbai : Dun & Bradstreet, the world’s leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight organized the 11th Edition of ‘Banking Awards 2017’. Dun & Bradstreet Banking Award is the most sorts after industry award that recognizes the contribution of the banking sector to India’s economic development. The awards ceremony felicitates India’s top Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) across various categories for their performance and contribution to the Indian banking industry.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Manish Sinha, Managing Director – India, Dun & Bradstreet said, “We are a decade from the start of the banking and financial crisis. A lot has been written about the crisis, and at Dun & Bradstreet, we have added to the published research with our own analyses. Specifically, we have tried to identify the characteristics that were consistent with the banks who weathered the crisis better than others. The base universe of the banks considered for the Dun & Bradstreet ‘Banking Awards 2017’ is from among the banks as covered in the ‘Dun & Bradstreet India’s Top Banks 2017’ publication. Dun & Bradstreet’s proprietary quantitative model is based on various parameters such as the size, growth, profitability indicators and other crucial financial aspects was used as the selection parameter. Public sector, Private sector and Foreign banks are identified in each of the following categories for the awards.
