HPCL CELEBRATED 71st INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at all the locations today. It is a proud and memorable day for all Indians. On this instance at many locations employees were invited along with their family members to participate in the celebrations.

Flag hosting was done at all the locations followed by National Anthem. As this was the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement, Government is celebrating it by starting a five year initiative (2017-2022) of “New India Movement – Sankalp se Siddhi”. Pledge was administered by all employees, family members and housekeeping staff present at locations.


To honor the commitment of employees 16 service awards were given in North Central Zone covering States of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc. at various locations today.
It was great to see all employees and their family members participate with so much zeal in the celebrations.

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
