Seychelles wins the runners up award for Emerging Overseas Destination at the ninth edition of Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards

Hosted by the vivacious Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar and held at The ITC Maurya, New Delhi on 19th November 2019, the ceremony saw the attendance of industry leaders, influencers and recognized names from the travel and tourism sector including government bodies.  The award was accepted by His Excellency Seychelles High Commissioner- Mr. Thomas Selby Pillay along with Ms. Lubaina Sheerazi- Head of Seychelles Tourism Board in India.
Like every year, the Readers’ Travel Awards are chosen through a readers’ voting process spanning two months sans any nominations and recognises the best in the travel industry across hotels, destinations, airlines, spas, websites, apps, cruise lines and more.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
