National, February 26, 2018: Zebpay announced the trading of Ether (cryptocurrency) on the exchange, the users can now trade in Ether in addition to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ripple, it means that the users can now buy, sell, send and receive all these cryptocurrencies / crypto-assets on the exchange.
Ethereum is a decentralised platform and it is powered by Ether, the cryptocurrency. Ether is a crypto-asset which works on an open network (just like Bitcoin) and it went live for the first time in 2015. Like other cryptocurrencies, Ether’s value is also determined by demand and supply (buying and selling) on a real time basis and is volatile.
Nischint Sanghavi, Head of Exchange, Zebpay says, ‘We are pleased to announce that Ether will now be trading on Zebpay. Ether is the second most popular cryptocurrency across the globe, its market and trading value are only second to Bitcoin and it is quite favourable among crypto users. Ether’s supply will be expanding and expected to stabilise after few years. What is interesting is that Ethereum is a blockchain technology which not only run ‘smart contracts’ and Ether (as a cryptocurrency) but multiple other cryptocurrencies. The existence of so many cryptocurrencies is because of the underlying technology of the Ethereum Blockchain.’
Apart from adding Ether, Zebpay has added Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ripple on the exchange recently. Zebpay has become a leading multicoin exchange in India where people have the choice of trading into multiple cryptocurrencies.
About Zebpay: Established in 2015 and headquartered in Mumbai, Zebpay is India’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange.
