Oma by Rana Launches Her Flagship Store in Prabhadevi

Mumbai: Oma, a well-known designer wear brand in Spain now sets foot in Mumbai and brings experimental Spanish fashion fusing it with Indian motifs. Having presented her collection in over 75 boutiques all over Costa Blanca, Spain, she launched her eponymous label, Oma by Rana in Prabhadevi giving out a European vibe. The store caters to a wide range of audiences with her unbeatable price points.

The name Oma was inspired by the Oma forest of Bilbao, Spain. It is a painted forest and a land art intervention of the renowned Spanish artist Augusitn Ibarallo. The colours of the wild amidst the flora reminiscing the madness of the nature led towards becoming her muse for her collections – adventurous and bold. Oma brings the European designs that are customized to the Indian audiences and can also be made to measure. The emerging designer curates outfits for any specific occasions, parties, luxury wear and even fast fashion for the everyday woman with a sense of femininity brought out in her collections at the flagship store. Stating this, Vandana adds, “With Oma by Rana we depict a perception of two worlds coming together, with Indian hand embroidery using ancient European craft adding a contemporary twist that embraces a modern woman.” Her featured designs are priced at a very economical range starting at INR 8,000 up to INR 30,000.
