She is the best thing that happened in women’s Karate in India and now a fresh chapter has begun for Sandhya Shetty. After representing India at the Commonwealth Karate Championship and winning gold for India, Sandhya Shetty gears up for the National Karate Championship to be held in Kerala in February & prepares for another 2016 fight and targets to win for gold medal. 

She is so happy to have glorified the Indian flag on Indian & International soil by winning the gold medal that she is now focusing on training hard and fighting for world championship & also focusing on self defence and awareness programmes in India for safety of woman.

Sandhya Shetty is the only model actor and TV presenter who is into professional fighting. Her Hindi film "Woh Ek Mulaqaat" is slated for a 2016 release and she has plans to launch her signature programme "No fear".

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
