Eureka Forbes takes a stand in safeguarding environment on this World Environment Day

Mumbai: Eureka Forbes Limited, a household name that has in the past introduced products and services that have not just safeguarded the health of the consumers but also as that of the environment. Eureka Forbes has been working on yet another innovation since last one year by introducing eco-friendly packaging for its products. This replaced thermocole with pulp tray that is made up of paper pulp, an environment-friendly and recyclable material.
The ‘green manufacturing units now have state-of-the-art facilities and operate on rain water and natural light harvesting. 200,000 sq. mt. plastic film saved which covers approximately 50 full size football grounds and 18,000 cubic meter thermocole saved which is equal to 30 Airbus freighters saved. This is not only cost effective but also saves space and can be easily transported, directly saving fuel.

The innovation has not just received appreciation from the industry but also has been certified by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), Golden Peacock Awards for quality and the GC Mark by Sample Co.
