Little Einsteins Preschool forays into international market, to invest USD 500,000 in Europe and Africa


 Little Einsteins Preschool is the first in Indian preschool to expand into Europe and African Market
 Will be investing USD 500,000 for setting up local infrastructure and marketing
 To set up 20 pre-schools in UK and Africa by 2018
   Spread across 27 cities in India with over 57 pre-school centers, Little Einstein’s is the fastest growing Preschool in India

Mumbai, September 18, 2017: Little Einsteins, announced its foray into European and African market when it entered into an agreement with a center in Hull, United Kingdom and another one at Polokwane, South Africa. The institute will also be investing USD 500,000 over the next one year towards setting up local offices and marketing.  With this, Little Einsteins is well placed to expand its network of preschools in these countries along with an excellent local support system.

Talking about the foray, Vinit Srivastava, Co-founder, Little Einsteins, said, “While we had a lot of international chains coming to India to establish their presence, this would be the first Indian preschool chain to be going to developed nations.  Little Einsteins has been a pioneer in providing preschool education under Mulitple Intelligence Framework, fostering an environment of creative, critical and divergent thinkers. To date, Little Einstein preschool has had over 5000 ignited minds pass out.”

“Identifying, developing and nurturing the kids as per their unique potential has been our guiding philosophy. During one of my visits to Sweden (Sweden is ranked number one globally in preschool education) and working with preschool owners there, I realized the opportunity for a better collaborative approach in preschool education across nations. Now with access to UK and South African talented and experienced partners, we should be able to develop and provide a better and safer place for our kids” Says Ms. Kopal Maheshwari, Chairperson at Little Einsteins.

Talking about future plans, Vinit Srivastava, further added, “We would be setting up around 20 preschools in Europe and Africa, by end of 2018. We are also in conversations with couple of other markets as well. We plan to work very closely with each preschool market, pick up the best practices and implement across.  We recognize that our success is totally dependent on our partner’s success, hence we continue to work on strengthening our partner support system through operation excellence and technological innovations.”

About Vinit Srivastava
Vinit has been a serial entrepreneur, investor with 15+ years of senior leadership in corporate roles.

Vinit is a member of The Chennai Angels and other angel groups participating in mentoring and fundraising for startups. Some of his startup investments have been in Purplle, PickMe, Appreize. He is an IIM Calcutta graduate.

His latest venture was DriversKart, an on demand Chauffeur Service. He scaled up the operations in top five cities, making it one of the top players in space. He successfully raised a round of 3Cr as well, for his venture in what many considered a tough market for fund raise. He later exited by selling off the Coonay in April 2017.

He co-founded Little Einsteins, a chain of preschool based on Multiple Intelligence, along with his wife, Kopal. In the years 2012 and 2016, Little Einsteins ranked as top 10 preschool chains in India. He is involved with Little Einsteins, offering his expertise on growth and helping them on expansion strategy through franchisee network in India. His other venture has been in QSR space with presence in Chennai.
