Mumbai: Yash Raj Films (YRF) is hosting its first online YRF Viewer’s Choice Awards on Facebook, starting September 13, 2017 onwards. These Facebook exclusive awards will celebrate some of the best cinematic work under the YRF banner across 15 unique categories such as Dumdaar Poster, Superhit Trailer, Favourite Filmy Jodi, Seeti Maar Entry, Seeti Maar Dialogue, Favourite Aww Moment, among many others.

The awards are being held over a period of 15 days, giving fans a chance to vote for their favourite categories across all YRF movies over the last five decades via Facebook Polls.

The winners of the YRF Viewer’s Choice Awards will be announced through an Award Finale, which will be a FB Live session. The session will also stream special video messages and engage with fans and viewers by giving away exciting YRF and Facebook goodies.

It is officially the first time that Bollywood Awards will be held by online polling singularly on Facebook.

Anand Gurnani, Vice President - Digital, Yash Raj Films Pvt. Ltd. said, “We had a purpose-driven spirit to design this campaign - our fans! We’re excited to expand our brand reach digitally with a campaign that ties-in with the larger brand story. When you power up your fans, great things happen.”

Ankit Rihal, Head, Entertainment - movies & music, at Facebook India said, “We’re really excited about YRF Viewer’s Choice Awards on Facebook and thrilled that the entertainment industry is experimenting with FB Live to connect with over 200 million people in India every month & millions globally.
