HPCL shines at 9th PSE Excellence Awards

Mumbai: HPCL bagged 4 Awards at 9th PSE Excellence Awards under Maharatna & Navaratna Category held at New Delhi. The following awards were received Best in ‘Human Resource Management Excellence’ Best in ‘Contribution of Women in PSEs’  Runner-up in ‘Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability’ Jury Award – ‘Company of the Year’

The PSE Excellence Awards is an initiative of Indian Chamber of Commerce to acknowledge the game changers among public enterprises who have contributed immensely in shaping up the Indian economy. It is a platform to celebrate the performance of PSEs. The awards were judged by an independent and distinguished jury, based on quantifiable parameters applied on detailed analysis by Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC).

Former Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GoI, Dr. Ajay Dua under the august presence of Former Secretary (DPE), Jury Chair, ICC Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee and Vice President, ICC Shri Pradeep Sureka presented the awards to representatives from HPCL viz. ED – HR, Shri Abhishek Datta, CGM – Co-ordination, Shri Alok Kumar Gupta  and CGM – CSR, Shri Saytanarayan Subbarao along with other Officials.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
