Mumbai celebrates a warm and loving Republic Day with Society Tea

28th January’19: On 26th January, 2019, as the entire country woke up to celebrate the nation’s Republic Day, Society Tea geared up to warm everyone’s hearts with delicious cups of hot tea. The morning breeze carried the immense joy, pride and patriotism of the Nation whilst the Indian Air Force, Police and CISF personnel participated in the annual Republic Day parade in Mumbai. 
Every participant of the iconic march was greeted with a hot cup of masala chai served by the State’s most favorite tea brand, Society Tea. People from different walks of life came together to unite for the love of two things – India and its eternal favorite beverage – Tea. The chill in the air was replaced with the comfort of hot tea and enjoyment of shared diversity within the community.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
