Union Bank of India Wins "Vigilance Excellence Award”

Mumbai- October 31, 2018: Union Bank of India awarded with, "Vigilance Excellence Award" for outstanding performance in conduct of Vigilance Awareness activities undertaken by the Bank during the year 2017. This award was conferred by  Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Hon'ble President of India at a glittering function held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week. The award was received by Shri Raj Kiran Rai G., MD & CEO, Union Bank of India and Shri M.V.S.N Murthy, Chief Vigilance Officer, Union Bank of India. Shri Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, also graced the occasion.

Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
