World Dental Show 2015
HEALTH / PHARMA by Shrutee K/DNS Mumbai, 16th October 2015 : World Dental Show (WDS), the biggest dental event of the year, an initiative of Indian Dental Association (IDA) was inaugurated amidst a glittering function. The programme was attended by Dr. L. K. Prasad, Chairman WDS, Dr. Alias Thomas, President IDA, Dr. Ashok Dhoble, Hon. Secretary General, IDA , Dr. T. C. Wong, Immediate Past President FDI, Dr. Suresh Barpande, Joint Director, Medical Education and Research, Dr. Kim Chuan How, FDI Councillor amongst others. During the inauguration ceremony tributes were paid to late Dr. R. Ahmed, Father of Indian Dentistry, whose 125th Birth Anniversary is being celebrated by IDA. As part of the commemoration his immediate family was present on the ocassion. The event also highlighted on the past achievements and honours of Dr. R.
