CULTURE High Street Phoenix & Heroes Project celebrate World AIDS Day on 1st December On 1st December 2012, High Street Phoenix& Heroes Project join hands to celebrate World AIDS Day with a host of activities that seek to propagate awareness about HIV. The day will begin with the setting-up of a condom box on the Aastha table, the “Pledge Your Support” machine where people can pledge their support and a doctor’s room for counselling There will be a team from Aastha Parivaar and Heroes Project present at High Street Phoenix to speak to the visitors. Around 3 pm in the afternoon, veteran rangoli artist Ramakant Shedge will start work on his 6ft X 4 ft live rangoli. Chocolate/book stall will beset up and volunteers will meet people and ask them to take a small quiz.
